1.Having trouble searching for grant type?
Ans. You can enter the grant type name( basic, clinical) in "general search". For a more selective search you can use "advance search".
2.Having trouble searching for pain groups?
Ans. You can enter the pain group name ( primary, secondary, non-pain ) in "general search". For a more selective search you can use "advance search".
3.Having trouble searching for organ type?
Ans. You can enter the organ name in "general search". For a more selective search choose the organ name from the dropdown list in "advance search".
4. Having trouble looking for the fiscal year?
Ans. You can type the year(yyyy) eg.2004 in the "general search"/"advance search". For a more selective search use "advance search".
5.Having trouble looking for the institute name?
Ans. You can enter the institute name or part of the name in "general search". For a more selective search select the institute name in "advance search".
6.Having trouble searching the principal investigator name?
Ans. You can enter either the first name or the last name to get the records. For exact search results enter lastname, firstname middle initials. (eg. Matthew, John T.)
7.Having trouble searching grant numbers?
Ans. You can enter the entire grant number or part of it to get the corresponding records.
8.Having trouble searching for pain class?
Ans. You can enter the pain class code ( available pain classes are: A,B,C,D and E) in "general search" or select one from "advance search".
9.Having trouble searching for mechanism class?
Ans.You can enter the mechanism class code ( available mechanism classes are: C,F,K,M,R,S,T,U and Z) in "general search" or select one from "advance search".
10.Having trouble searching the project name?
Ans. You can enter the title name or the keywords in the title name in "general search" /"advance search".
11. Having trouble searching for keywords?
Ans. You can enter the keywords in the keyword field in "advance search" to get the records.
12.Having trouble searching for a particular word and excluding certain words
Ans. You can enter the words in the keyword field in "advance search" to get the records.
